Walnuts season in Chile is from march through april until october.
Walnuts size with shell, is measured according to equatorial diameter,

The marketing varieties are: "Chandler" and "Serr". Walnuts with shell are packed in polyethylene bags of 25 Klgs. each.

In walnuts without shell, the fruit color is very important, from Amber to an Extra Light color.
It can be offered; Halves Extra Light/ Light/ Light Amber and Amber.

These walnuts are packed in carton cases of 10 Klgs. net, in bags of 2 x 5 Klgs of polyethylene with Modificate atmosphere.

For loading in FCL of 40’ 20 TM of walnuts without shell (2.000 carton cases of 10 Klgs.)
Raisins are dried out fruits which have deprived a big proportion of water, providing a great nutritious value easily available in small volume.
For this reason, they are very handy to transport and consumption whenever is needed. The manufacture of raisins starts
with a careful selection of ripened grapes being transported to a dried place; special geography and environment where sunrays fall evenly on the place.
The different types of grapes are carefully deposited on plastic blankets, and then it begins the slow
and uniform dehydration of fruit as a natural result of sun, air and safety of environment.
During washing process, fruit is treated with abundant water, which temperature is depending on moisture
that produce has before being washed, later on to be spinned, removing strange materials.
These processes are daily rigorous, because different markets for destination are very demanding.
At last, this produce is added vegetal oil to be selected by hand in a conveyor belt, after a scanner laser, x-rays and metal detectors

In Chile, many varieties are exported, but mostly are "Flame Thompson" and "Crimson" in Jumbo sizes, Medium and Small, according to equatorial diameter

Recently, other varieties have been added such as: "Red Globe with seed", "Black seedless" and "Crimson Red".

We also count with dried raisins in industrial oven; this one is known as Golden raisin and the main variety is Thompson seedless.
The main sizes offered are Jumbo and Medium. Packing is the same of sundried raisin.

The dried prunes is got from fresh prune after water extraction in a good scale. Prunes season in Chile is from march through april with dispatch until october.
This product is very rich in fibre, potassium and iron from vegetal origin. From our country, "D’agen" and "President" are the most exportable varieties.

Sizes for D’agen are: 30/40,40/50/50/60,/60/70,70/80,/80/90/90/100 and 100/120.
The almonds are dried fruits free of saturated fat in a 93%; actually almonds have the same characteristic
than olive oil, always recommended by health experts to protect against heart condition. This means that almonds are a good food for consumer nowadays.
They have low moisture, this makes them rich in nutrients. Almonds season in Chile is from March through April every year.
Normal sizes of almonds without shell are: 18/20, 20/22,23/25,25/27,27/30,30/32, 33/35,for kernels per ounce.
The outmost varieties for exports in Chile are: "Non Pareil", "Californian type" and "Carmel".
They are packed in polyethylene bags of 10 Klgs., net each, and in a FCL of 20’ may reach 1.700 carton cases approx.
